- 10 oz frozen or fresh sliced strawberries
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 3oz package strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
Thaw the strawberries and drain. Be sure to keep all the juice that drains off.
Put the jello powder in a separate bowl. Pour the boiling water over the jello and mix well. Stir until the jello is completely dissolved.
Add cold water to the strawberry juice to equal one cup. Stir into the jello.
Chill for about two hours or until almost set.
In a chilled bowl beat the whip cream until peaks form.
Beat the jello until foamy. Fold in the whipped cream and strawberries. Chill until firm. Garnish with whipped cream and a whole strawberry if desired. The strawberry whip cream jello dessert is ready !
